Avoid over-exfoliating and use at your own pace for optimal performance.Before first use, wash your kessa with soap and water, then allow it to air dry. This helps remove any residues from the production process. For hygiene reasons, we recommend washing all fabric products before use.After exfoliating, cleanse your skin with a gentle natural soap like olive oil soap and follow with a moisturizer. Exfoliation helps remove excess skin buildup and dirt, so it’s important to hydrate your skin afterward. You can use a natural moisturizer or body oil to keep your skin feeling soft and nourished.For best results, follow with your favorite moisturizer and SPF.

HOW TO USE MOROCCAN KESSA

PREPARATION

Wash your kessa and allow it to dry.Take a warm shower and use a gentle soap like Castille, handmade natural soaps, or Moroccan black soap. These soaps are known for their mild properties that leave skin feeling soft. Avoid using harsh body washes to preserve your skin’s natural moisture.After exfoliating, gently squeeze excess water from the mitt.

EXFOLIATION

“Gently scrub your body using light back-and-forth movements. You may notice dead skin cells being removed during the process. Avoid applying too much pressure to protect your skin.Once you’ve exfoliated, rinse off with warm water. You can follow up with your preferred soap or body wash if desired.”

AFTER EXFOLIATION

Moisturize your skin after exfoliation, as some of your natural oils are removed along with dead skin cells and dirt. To keep your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed, use a natural body oil or moisturizer if possible. Rinse your Moroccan Kessa with water and mild soap, then allow it to dry before the next use. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure for 24 hours after exfoliating to allow your skin to recover.
